Default Oh, those last 10 pounds...

Hi all,

I am looking for a buddy who I can commiserate with as I try to lose the last 10 pounds (for good this time!) I seem to keep taking them off and putting them back on and now I'm determined to take them off and keep them off. Anyone else looking for support, accountibility, encouragement and understanding? Please let me know!

Thanks,
Veerie

Default last 10 pounds

Hi, I am trying to lose my last 10-15 pounds. I am trying to get back into my pre-baby clothes. I am hoping it will only take 10 pounds but, I just can't seem to get there. I seem to lose a few pounds and then gain 3 back. I am so frustrated right now because it seems like I have been trying to lose this weight and I have been trying very hard. I even upped my exercise routine thinking that would help and I gained 2 pounds this week. Last time I lost my weight I lived close to my family and I had tons of support from them. Now we live far away and I haven't really met anyone so, I am in need of some support. To make it even more difficult my husband is currently trying to gain weight (he is very close to his minimum weight requirement in the army). That really frustrates me. I am not always this *****y but, I weighed myself this morning. Since this is my first week of tougher exercise I was expected a good loss not a gain. I have also been counting my calories and keeping track of my weight watchers points. Anyway I would like to have a buddy if you are interested. What kind of diet plan do you follow?? I know from losing this weight the first time round that the last 10 pounds is so hard. Last time I lost the weight I was going to the gym and I had a personal trainer. Unfortunatley, that is not an option for me this time. Well, I think I have rambled on long enough and I feel better after my little venting session. Let me know if you are interested in being buddies. You could PM me and let me know and maybe we could exchange email addresses.

Hey Ladies!

I would love to have a couple buddies to hold me accountable. I have about 10 pounds to lose, currently I am taking it easy with the exercise (still recovering from Leukemia), so am slowly working myself back to Pre-sick shape. I would love to have some friends who are struggling with the Last Ten pounds to help with the ups and downs of weight loss!

Default 10 lbs

Hi, I hope you are feeling better. These last 10 lbs are just a killer aren't they. What kind of diet program are you on??? I mainly just keep track of my calories. I have decided to join a gym to help me get back into my exercise regimen. If I am paying for it I will be more likely to go (I hate wasting money.) I hope to just lose 5 lbs by Christmas. Well, hopefully you can get back to your exercise regimen soon.

Default 10 lbs

I have just been counting my calories but, I have done WW in the past. I am trying to get back in the habit of keeping track of my points again. The calorie counting thing has not been working for me. I think with WW I eat healthier. When I count calories I have the habit of trading dinner calories for a better dessert. I just really need to start a better workout regimen. I start strong for about a week then when I don't see results I quit for a week and it is a bad cycle. I have decided to join a gym starting next week after Thanksgiving. I am hoping that will encourage me to stick with it.

Hey!

Yeah I hear ya on the gym thing. The tough thing for me is getting to the gym. Sometimes I will opt to workout at home, which is still better than nothing but I don't put 100% in to it. I just bought the Power 90 DvDs so I will include that in there somewhere. Hopefully that will help a bit on the days I stay home.
