I was flipping through
The Biggest Loser Diet book at WalMart yesterday. I was struck by how close to LAWL their program is. They only get 2 starches per day and 3 servings (about 1 cup or 8 oz) of protien per day! The only real difference was the additional 200 calories per day that they can have. However, that isn't for a candy bar. It is the calories they pull from in order to have some olive oil, sugar free jello and stuff like that!
The biggest thing is counting calories. I suppose that is what it all comes down to. Calories in versus calories out! How you go about doing that is what all these diets are all about!
