Went to the COD today and was up a half a pound - Tues. there was no loss -

I'm very frustrated and my counselor "switched" starches - she said these are the best starches:
lite bread - 40 cal. or less
Melba Toast
Wasa bread
Lowfat graham cracker
Lowfat Triscuits
Lowfat Wheat Thins
Now I'm no dietician, but aren't these all processed foods? I asked about a half of a potato, 1/3 cup of corn or 1/3 cup of peas - she said they are not as good as the above starches -
I'm so confused! Wouldn't veggies be better than crackers???
What do you all have the most success with?
