My 14 yo granddaughter ran away last night, police are involved as one of her friends knows where she is but won't tell. we just want her home so we can deal with things. she has some issues and we thought we were dealing with them but..apparently not to her satisfaction. she did leave a note and say she has a safe place to stay but...her choices lately have not been too great.
(((Bunna and family))) Sweetie, I can't imagine the fear and anguish you're feeling right now. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your granddaughter will realize that running away won't solve her problems. Maybe you can get this friend to get her to call you and talk. Would she agree to professional counseling?
So glad she is home.. A big sigh of relief I'm sure... I hope she gets the counseling she needs...teenage years are so very hard even if you aren't having many issues.. hope for positive progress for you and the family
Bunna - Even though your gd is home, I'm still praying for her. Teenage years can be so difficult....too grown up to be a kid....too young to be an adult - very confusing.
