Smile New UK Fat Chick

Hello peeps!

Joined Weight Watchers for the second time back in Aug this year, after putting on 16 lb after a year off (doom!)

Not done too badly, but now my resolve is starting to weaken! I swear it's the time of year.... cold, wet, dark, all I want to do is stay in where it's warm and eat and sleep!

I'm looking to shift the 6lb that's standing in the way of me being 11 stone by XMas. That's still a stone more than my goal weight, but I've just got my 10% target and I need another target thats not so far away that I loose sight of it!

Anyone give me some motivation tips for these dark damp days?

Hi Charlie Beth

You're doing so well I feel so ashamed of myself. I'm a WW member too and, unfortunately, slipping! Which plan are you following? I do No Count but think I might have to go back to points as I seem to be going backwards not forwards!

Hey ladies,

I understand about wanting to cover up and staying away from the cold, but just think about how good you will look if you keep working out and eating healthy. You will never want to cover anything up if you hit your goals! Maybe this time next year, you will have a new wardrobe. I love buying new clothes, especially small sizes, so that is one motivator for me.

Something else that motivates me is when I don't eat the doughnuts and crap everybody else eats at work. It makes me feel very strong and in control of my own decisions. I used to feel sorry for myself when I did not eat cake and stuff at work like everyone else, but now it reminds me of how much better I look and feel...and how great I will look when I get to my ultimate goal!

That's a great tip about doughnuts and other such crap Cherry H and one I intend to try out tomorrow!
I've just started a new job, my dream job so it's very important to me, but all the people I'm working with are skinny and seem to live on junk. Our office is close to Sainsburys and they keep buying doughnuts and cookies 'to share'. I feel such a meanie even thinking about saying no but maybe I'd feel better if I did!
