Hi!
This is what I do for breakfast:
Oatmeal and Morningstar Bacon Strips (these are vegetarian bacon). I am a veggie and love these! Yum! I am making myself hungry.

You can throw a few sliced almonds and cinammon on top.
Kashi w/ Blueberries and either Pavel's Plain Yogurt with Splenda or veg bacon
Toast w/ Peanut Butter. For this, I use a specific type of bread that has lentil sprouts baked into it. It is low in bad carbs, high in protein, high in fiber and actually quite good. It isn't one of those funky "low carb diet products" just more healthy. I can't remember the name but if you want to know I will go check. They sell it at all the major grocery stores and Costco.
Sometimes I make a smoothie with yogurt, frozen fruit, spinach and wheat germ. Did you know you can't tast spinach in a smoothie? I read it somewhere and tried it. It's true. My kids slurp it right down and don't even flinch!
Spread some peanut butter on Bananas and then roll them in wheat germ or crushed nuts. It's quick, filling and healthy.
I also try to cut out some carbs but if I am going to have carbs I think the best time to have it is at breakfast. So, if I want a treat I will have two whole wheat toaster waffles and a couple of bacon strips. It feels like such a great treat and really isn't too many calories.
Breakfast is a big change for me. I used to skip breakfast alot or eat an unfilling breakfast cereal. Now, I really try to eat a breakfast that fills me up and I feel a lot better for doing it.
I always use the natural peanut butter because it has no added sugar not to mention many other odd ingredients.
Also, I love the Pavel's plain yogurt. I know you aren't big on dairy but in case anyone is interested. It is a greek yogurt I think and tastes really yummy. I just mix in a bit of splenda and sometimes fruit. If you read the ingredients the list is quite short compared to many of the big brands and it has alot less carbs by nature.
