Thumbs up Weigh In at Home 10/31-11/06

Have a cup of coffee with me~
Ok. I thought since I am here first....I would start the thread. Wahoooooo
What a morning.....I got me FAT A** out of bed and went and walked this am. About time I say to myself. I weighed in this morning.....not too bad for eating out two days in a row...and eating what I wanted. Fried seafood Saturday, and last night a fried eggplant sandwich w/fries and Baskin Robbins for dessert. Oh well...at 204.5 this is still better than 206.5. Baby steps....girls baby steps. I am getting back to walking five days a week first (ok, gonna watch my food but not be TOO hard on myself) I hope everyone has a great day and had a GREAT weekend!
See ya soon!

Talking

I have been doing WW for 6 weeks now and let me tell you I am LOVING it!!
I have tried to DIEt in the past and it stunk but this lifestyle change is the greatest. I have so much energy, I am up 2-3 hours earlier in the morning and go all day long, no more 2-3 hour naps!

I am a stay at home caregiver for my sweetie who is on dialysis so I am home almost all the time so eating and being a couch potato was the old me. Now my house is cleaner than ever and I just can't sit and watch TV!!

I lost another 5 pounds this week for a 6 week total of 27.5 pounds...can't ya just see my GRIN.

All I can say is hang in there everyone it works!!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. I weighed in yesterday morning with a 1lb gain. Trying to stick to counting points. I want to eat out LESS this week and get in at least one day of walking. These are my goals for the week.

Kelly-thank you for the warm welcome!

KellyJo - congratulations on being 2 pounds down AND for getting out and walking this am. Baby steps is right. That's what I'm trying to do this week.

Rachel - good for you for going to the gym! Better than you were doing is still progress - that's what I'm telling myself!

Kris - wow, you are doing great! Welcome and congratulations!

Stacy - Those are great goals for the week. I find it is so hard if I eat out a lot.

Well, let's just say that I've had better weekends. I had a HUGE amount of work both on the portfolio and planning lessons for the week. I worked from 8:00 am Saturday until about 10 pm and worked a large part of the day on Sunday. I got a lot done but I also ate through the huge amount of stress. At least I managed to workout out (cardio) on Sunday and even did a 1/2 of weights yesterday when I got home from work. I snacked a bit too much last night but not anywhere near the weekend so that is moving in the right direction. I had student teaching seminar this evening and my last observation tomorrow morning (as well as starting the Economics unit - the last section before the big state test the week after next). I just finished what I have to get done this evening and am ready to relax. No workout today - if I can to bed early (always my plan - hardly manage to) perhaps I can do a little yoga in the morning. I have my literacy course tomorrow night so if I don't get the workout in before work - that's it.

I've promised myself I will get to my meeting this week (last Saturday I just had too much to do to even spare the hour).
Have a great one!

Default Weigh in

I am down 2 pounds, to 197.6! I was actually surprised but I'll take it anyhow! I really have been keeping up with the gym so I'm sure that's why I lost, because a few days I went over my points.
My goals for the week include getting all my water in, STAYING ON TARGET WITH MY POINTS, and getting all my fruits and veggies in. Of course I will keep going to the gym, but for me it's not something I have to make myself do anymore. I love to go, I feel so good afterward! Today I did 30 min (2 miles with hills) on the elliptical machine plus weight training. I remember when I could barely make it 10 minutes on the cardio machines and that makes me happy! And even though I haven't lost much lately, people at work still say I am shrinking, so maybe I am losing inches (guess I should be measuring but I haven't).

Kris--welcome and keep up the good work! I agree that exercise gives you more energy, and I have more energy just from excitement when I am on program and getting results. Lateley I have been shaky in my committment but I'm getting better!

Judy--Hang in there! I know what it's like to be so busy and overwhelmed. Just do your best, it's all anyone can expect.

Stacy--I agree with the eating out. It is my biggest challenge and something I struggle with. But one good thing about WW is I don't eat out nearly as much, so that helps to save money in my opinion. With gas prices what they are, we all could stand to save some money, right??

Carla--hope your week is going well and looking forward to hearing from you! Is your cold all better? Same for Lynne, where are you?

Kelly Jo--I hope you are doing okay with your baby steps and keepin' on keepin' on with the walking!

I am so proud of ALL of you girls. I had to put down the candybars and step away from the bowl.......yesterday. Today is a new day I got up to walk and am only at 9.5 points for the day so far---holy kamoly...is it only 10:39? LOL...that is ok...I have a plan and planned accordingly for the next hunger episode..I am gonna get a salad from wendy's w/lf honey mustard....it is still only 2 points. that leaves me much points for later I posted an AWESOME eggplant parmesan recipe on the vegetarian thread earlier....it is very good and filling and let me know if anyone trys it and like it! I am close to TOM and feeling the effects. I did not weigh in today (since My slate was wiped clean...ROFL) but I am sure I am up. Oh well, I am chicken hear me cluck. I will weigh next week (barring that TOM is not here and late) I will not be tied to that scale...oh NO NOT ME!!!!!

My goals for this month are to walk AT LEAST five days a week (which means since it was raining yesterday I will have to get up and do it Sat).............................................. .................................................. ..............
Stick to my points to the best of my ability........................................... ................
Go to the Gym at least once a week.............................................. ......................
DRINK MY WATER............................................. ................................................
