I should listen to music...I'm sure it makes the time pass faster and ups your energy level...But I'm too lazy to buy headphones! Headphones...I sound old! Nearly everyone I see listens to CD players or IPODS.
I normally listen to the TV or just use the time to think.

For me this translates to something to walk to but I like songs with a strong beat & rhythm. I like a wide array of music, as evidenced below.

All Nite (Don't Stop) ~ Janet Jackson
When I Come Around ~ Green Day
I Changed My Mind ~ Keyshia Cole
Ghetto Musick ~ Outkast
Headstrong ~ Trapt
Ghetto Rock ~ Mos Def
Cold ~ Crossfade

are a few on my current playlist.

Great thread - I love Nth Degree too! I am always looking for new workout music on iTunes - I am an elliptical gal so I need really high energy stuff to keep me motivated. Here is my current (one of many!) workout playlists. Keep posting your faves cos I need new songs!

O yes - almost forgot - if you decide to check these out please note that many are remixes so be careful to avoid the original song! They are often a lot different (aka: slower) and lack the sass of the remix.

- No Sleep Tonight by the Faders
- Dead Disco (Kylie Kills Mix) by Metric
- Bohemian Like You by the Dandy Warhols
- Flawless (Go to the City) by George Michael
- An Honest Mistake (Superdiscount Remix) by the Bravery
- Ready to Go by Republica
- Lady with the Spinning Head (Extended Dance Mix) by U2
- What are you waiting for by Gwen Stefani
- Mr. Brightside (Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke Mix) by the Killers
- Born to Slow by Crystal Method
- All Around the World by Cooler Kids
- Rebellion (Lies) by Arcade Fire
- I Would Die 4 U (Extended Club Mix) by Space Cowboy
- Straight Ahead (Radio Edit) by Tube & Berger
- The Hand that Feeds (DFA Remix) by Nine Inch Nails
- Me Plus One by Annie
- Vox (Tom Middleton Mix) by Sarah McLachlan
- The First Single (You Know Me) by the Format

Anything rap or alternative. As long as it is fast paced.

I find it easier to listen to music with words, so you can sing along in your head and the time goes by a lot faster, but i also LOVE to work out to Drum and Bass and Experimental. MmMm.

Keaton, Alias, DJ Shadow, Hieroglyphics?
