Default Costume ideas for size 18

My mom has to wear a costume to work (she works at a bank) before Halloween. She can't think of any ideas that would work for her size.

Do any of you have any ideas for an inexpensive costume that would work for her?

Any ideas would be welcome.

The first thing that comes to mind is to dress in black with a black cape a witche's pointy hat and makeup to make warts on your face like a witch... not very imaginative but quick and easy...

One of the characters on the Office put three black discs on his white shirt and said that he had been three-hole punched. It was cute. I like the witch idea - capes are one size fits all! There are some other classics: wear all black w/cat ears/nose, or a black dress with pale make-up and fangs. Grab a tie-dyed shirt and some old jeans (bell-bottoms?) and go as a hippie, or throw on some make-up and be a vampire hippie. If your mom has any sort of long, flowy skirt, she could throw that on with a blouse and maybe a vest, put a scarf on her head and wear a bunch of costume jewelry as a gypsy.

I think that many local stores (like Sprawl... er Wal-Mart) have inexpensive plus size costumes, or at least inexpensive accessories that can dress up jeans/skirt and/or blouse, depending on what you have. Personally, I found fishnets in my size, and my Doc Martins almost fit in the calf, so...

At target they have really pretty fairy and butterfly wings. She could wear a dress and the wings and put like a flower barette or something in her hair. Simple but cute.

I love the three hole punch idea! I think I may have to tell her that one.
