Default Does anyone do the FIRM? If so....

I was curious if anyone does the FIRM dvd/tapes? If so, which ones? I just ordered the System 2 with the sculpting stick, two steps and three dvd's off ebay. Haven't rec'd them yet.

I was looking for input as to:

Do you have them, if so which one's do you like best?

Have you lost weight/sizes with them?

Do they really tone you up like they claim? (I'd like to hear success stories from "real" people on here, rather than the official website which, of course is gonna post success stories and testimonials (and probably compensate the people for it).

Do you feel they are worth the money?

Any idea how many calories approximately are burned with them? I was real disappointed lately to find that I wasn't burning many calories with Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds. I know Tae Bo can really burn some up, but I'm not in real good shape yet and can't keep up enough to really do the dvd's the way I should. Doesn't stop me from trying though! LOL

Thanks.

I only do Firm and Fitprime workouts.
Yes you will lose weight and tone up by doing these workouts. I am not a big fan of the workouts that have been released since 2001 from Goodtimes. I much prefer the originals that are mostly put of print. A lot of people have complained about the leg presses bulking up their legs and getting a "Spongebob Squarebutt", but I have never had that happen, it really has helped to tone my hips, glutes, and legs. The full 14 inch step is not for me right now though, so I use the smaller portion, just b/c my knees are not that strong yet.
When I did Firm workouts from both tapes & the studio, I lost 50 pounds in about 8 months with no major eating changes, other than reducing the sweet tea I drank to 1 glass per day and drinking 1 gallon of water.
My results were defined arms, and weight loss in the tummy first. Everything else slowly shrank down to, but I could not see it, but it was noticed by others surrounding me and in my clothes.
I own most of the workouts that have come out, but if I had to pick my favorites, I would pick Volume 1 (Body Sculpting Bascics with Susan Harris) Core Cardio 2, Maximum Cardio, Super Sculpting, Cross Trainer Hare, Cross Trainer Tortoise, and Ballroom Aerobics made from both cross just noted trainers.
From doing these I have gained so much more than just physical fitness. It has given me an inner strength, confidence, my depression has lessened tremendously. I highly recommend these workouts.
I have only started doing Fitprimes b/c they were created by the sisters and now ex spouse who started The Firm. The main difference b/w the 2 is that fitprimes incorporate more yoga and pilates as well as functional fitness to build core strength.

Hi Everyone. This is my first time posting, but I have been using The Firm for years. My advice would be, if you have not bought any of The Firm BSS, I would start with The TransFirmer. You can adapt it to all of the other BSS.
Keep up the good work.
