Hello all. My name is Nikaia - I've just turned 20 a couple months ago, and am in my 3rd year of college. I'm 5'7". I hovered around 140-145 in high school, but after graduation and leaving for college my depression kicked in big-time and I gained 40 lbs, putting me at 180 lbs over this past summer - my heaviest weight ever. About six weeks ago I started exercising, then after the first two weeks I started Jorge Cruise's 8 Minutes in the Morning plan, along with Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds program. I'm at 165 lbs now, but I would really like to find a buddy to check in with. Daily would be good! I'd particularly like to find other students or young people to talk with.

hey .. im turning 20 on tuesday and am a third year at UCLA .. Hey!! I am also a college student. My name is Jenny.. Im 20 years old.. almost 21!! Counting the days.. more like months to go!! lol.. Well I'm 5'5 & a 1/2.. lol.. and I am currently weighing 152.5... kinda mad at myself about it, cause I was 148 a couple weeks ago. I let myself slack, stopped working out.. and managed to put 5lbs back on!! Totally disappointed!! I guess thats why i couldnt get back on the boat! I saw exactly what i was doing to myself.. but i was so occupied in making myself feel like crap for slacking off, that it made me somewhat depressed.. which led to even more eating!!
Oh well.. its about time that i pick myself back up on my feet. I am very dedicated and motivated, and if any of you guys need a buddy feel free to pm me & I'll give you my email address!! See ya!!

Hey Daisy I see you have a countdown till ur birthday? My weight loss turned bad after I turned 21... no excuse not to drink anymore. And because everyone else is turning "the big 21" is a non stop drinking/calorie intaking year. Good luck! Hopefully u'll do better than me.

Hey Girl!!

Yeah i know what you mean.. Im going to totally watch myself!! I used to be into the whole party scene when I was in high school & a little after.. but then I got tired of it & decided to wait til I turned 21 so that all the stuff I was doing was actually legal.. And now since Im taking Accutane, they advised me not to drink... so when my bday rolls around I will be off the Accutane & prob dying to party!! But I doubt the drinking will be an everyday thing. I am not going to lose all this weight, to put it all back on it a couple months!! I refuse to do that!!!
