Default New and motivated

I too am new and looking for all the help I can get. I am doing the SBD, however trust me when I tell you I have tried every diet in the book. My daughter is getting married in May and I would like to lose 50 pounds by the wedding. I would love to have a buddy who could help keep me motivated. I started the diet Monday October 3rd weighing 212. I weighed this morning and the scale said 210. I was excited. I am also doing some exercise 3x week. Good luck to you!!!

Welcome to 3FC, Ladies.

You've come to a great place for support, motivation and fun. Just jump right on in. Surf through some of the forums. You might find a group to join. I have joined the 30-something group obviously because I'm in my 30's, but I post in other forums as well. I love the fact that you get so much encouragement here and I don't have to worry about saying what I weigh> Sometimes it's hard to say I weigh 213. It's enough that they can that I am fat. They don't need to know it all.

Keep focused. Set realistic goals. Exercise. Drink your water. Watch what you eat. Not sure what types of diets you are all doing. Most of all keep up the good work and don't let any set backs keep you down. Always remember that tomorrow is a new day.

Good luck and keep up the good work. See ya in the forums.

Annie

Red face Good Luck

Hi. I am new too. Very new, just in the last few minutes. I saw your posting and wish you luck. I'm 39 and have been struggling always with my weight and food since high school, whether fat or thin. I'm at my highest right now and cannot say how much I weigh now because I'm afraid to get on the scale. Tomorrow, tomorrow. But, I just joined the 24-hour club by me. . . went today for the first time. Best of luck to all of us brave women!

Thank you Annie!
Since I am a newbie at posting do I just ramble on? After you posted, I re read some of the threads. My weight is probably 280-285. I get weighed every few months at the rheumatologist office. Ever since I gained weight
I developed RA.

RA is Real Bad in my feet. Now i have a broken foot. So, out of frustration I have started eating more. It's real bad you guys.
I always feel a load of relief when Sat is here. I can focus on water and actually go to the restroom etc. I think I need a week offf.

WOW HOW FREEING! I can't believe I admitted to this!
Thank for listening!

Nene,

I totally agree with lovesbassets. It's such a great feeling to be able to open with everyone. And not having the fear of being judged. I find myself just rambling on too. It's a good way to get out how we are feeling. Besides it will help us to get to know you better. THink of it as really cheap therapy.
Well, you know what I mean. I totally agree. How Freeing. It's great just to get it all off your chest.

It's great to have you here. Just jump on in and start gabbing away in the forum. You'll find so much support, encouragement and friendship. Keep up the good work.
