Default Newbie - saying hi!

Hi all,
I'm new to these boards (well, lurked for a long time!) and just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Sara, I'm 25, married, no kids. Last year I lost 20 lbs. just counting calories and exercising w/ DH. In the last few months though I've regained 10!!! Mostly due to stress-eating but also DH is one of those people who has that magical "willpower" and I don't, I need someone to be accountable to. So hopefully thorugh these boards I'll find some buddies to force me into staying on track - I can't do this alone!!

I'm trying to eat 1300-1400 calories a day, and I currently do 2-3 workouts a week but I want to up my workouts to 4-5, including "light" strength training.

I'll post on the "Introducing Yourself" thread too...some of those questons looked fun!

Hi Sara and welcome! You sound like you've got things pretty much planned out, good for you! Post lots both here and in the Exercise forums. Since you're close to goal and struggle with maintaining (like lots of us) you might be interested in the Maintainers Forum.

Hello there squirrel- Welcome to the forum. What is your weight now? You sound likeyou are on the same plan as me, so I was curious. I am maintaining my weight at 125, would like to lose a couple, cuz the weight sits right on my thighs...I eat 1300-1400 cals a day and do 3 workouts a week. I just tried a spinning class and loved it. I do weight training 20 minutes 2x a wk and cardio for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week, plus one spinning class which is an hr. You do sound like youre on the right track. good luck
