Unhappy Poor Knees need a break

Hi everyone. I've been doing the firm workouts (BSS2 & 4)for the past few weeks, and although the toning and strengthening is awesome, my knees are starting to hurt. I know that I must stop firming for a while, but I don't want to 'demote' myself to lesser cardio vascular workouts, I need the intensity that the firm offers. Could anyone recommend a few (4 or more) workouts with enough intensity to make me sweat a lot but that don't require a step or lots of lungs & squats? I would really appriecate it. =)

Have you tried kickboxing? You don't need any extra equipment, there is Tai Bo, Turbo Jam, and Kathy Smith's Aerobox that can all be pretty intense.
