Unhappy Oh Gosh!

Okay Ladies,

I need to say it outloud so I can see it and have everyone hear it. I cheated on the diet this weekend! My first cheat in a month!! It's not like I ate horribly, either...I was upstate visiting my DB and had a pita and a sandwitch, and probobly some more nuts than i needed, and...Tasti D'Lite! (a lot of it! )

BUT, I AM NOT GIVING UP.
I am going back to phase 1.5 tomorrow and going to the gym a few times this week. I know I can regain composure and do this. I love being on the diet...it gave me so much control! and I hate being out of control!

So, here it is in writing. I am getting back on my feet tomorrow. and that is that.

much love, ladies!

Its ok, we all mess up once in awhile. Did you gain any from it, if you did, most likely is is water weight... Just chalk it up to your first mistake in your life
Your back on track... your fine.

You definitely are fine! That wasn't a very drastic cheat at all. Isn't it liberating to write it down? Posting here really helps.

Livvy, we've all been there. The best part is if you learn from it (why did you cheat? How can you keep it from happening in the future or plan for it so it's not as drastic?) and then avoid making the same mistake in the future.

We're here to support you as you get back on the wagon!

You know, I avoid using the word cheat and try to just say "I went off plan". That may be a wimp out but it's easier on my self esteem. I'm sure you are well back "on plan" (OP) this week.

I agree - if you look at it as a way of life, not a quick-fix weight-loss thing, then you can't really "cheat" (how do you cheat at life?) - you're just make some choices that you wouldn't normally make for yourself. Or as Ruth says, you went off your plan. Stuff happens!

That is a great way of looking at it...Like it was a bad choice, not a cheat!

Very true! I like that...cheating is so bad...but, going off plan can always be fixed by going back on! thanks gals!
