Default Biggest Loser 2 Anyone?

I don't know if any of you watched this show last season, but I really enjoyed it and found it really motivating. (Except for the one time that I ate a half bag of potato chips while watching it, but, hey, at least I saw the irony in it!)

Anywho, Season 2 starts tonight at 8 - it's on NBC and it's 90 minutes long (tonight, normally it's an hour). Just a heads up for anyone who's interested!

Hello, my name is Ilene, and I am a reality show addict!! Not that bad, but I do like them... I had to tape the second part because DD needed help with homework. I saw it up to when the girls WON the weigh in!! Wasn't that the coolest?? I was sooo happy!

I saw most of it! The only thing I don't like is that it's an elimination show . . . what, like if you don't lose enough weight, you are condemned to be fat and not get the benefits of the education from the show? But it was nice to see that the guy who was eliminated stuck with it.

Survivor starts this week?? Why did nobody tell me?? When is it on???

Survivor is on Thursday, at 8 I guess? Not sure. Biggest Loser looks interesting this year. I wondered how they were going to pull off men vs women. Percentages makes sense. I can't believe they all lost so much weight! 28 pounds is INSANE! It's taken me 6 months to lose 25!! I can't wait for the Amazing Race, that's my favorite! Martha Stewart's Apprentice is either going to be great or just stupid...I'll have to wait and see. Hmmmmmmmmm........I think I may watch WAY too much TV *smile* At least I'm still exercising too!

I wanted to see the bigest loser so badly but I had to work I wonder if I can catch it on a rerun somewhere. My other reality vice is the celebrity fit camp on VH1 those VH1 shows are so crazy that I get hooked--so bad they are good.

I watched last night's episode and thought it was great. I like the fact that they lose the weight by hard work and counting calories even though the speed at which they lose weight is only realistic if you have a personal trainer and 24/7 to devote to the cause!

I wish they had shown more of last years contestants. Where are they now kind of thing. Or really, what do they weigh now? They briefly showed pictures of the final three who still looked pretty thin and possibly even lost more after the show? Hopefully they will touch on that later.

Oh I do think the show runs 90 mins most weeks though. DH and I noticed that last season and thought it was an excellent ploy by the TV network to keep you on their station instead of switching at the hour. It worked on me.

On the website, nbc.com I think, they have pictures and a little paragraph about most of the contestants from last season. They all look great.

I really like the Biggest Loser but in general I hate reality shows that are based around screwing someone else over for money. I would like the show so much more if they kept the same teams throughout the whole competition and whichever team won had to split the money amongst themselves.
