Default I don't know what to choose!

Okay all, well I've had the same 3 videos in my collection for about 8 months now and I'm SICK of them! LOL I've started walking everyday, but I need something new and fun for rainy days and when it gets really cold out.
I checked out the Collage website and videofitness.com. I've also looked at amazon.com. I'm still stumped at what to buy.
I have Extreme Makeover Fitness, which I could probably do with my eyes closed by now. Also have Kathy Smith's Kickboxing and Tae-Bo cardio and I've realized that I HATE kickboxing! I also have a VHS by Gin Miller which I really like, but I've done it so much that I can't stand it anymore! LOL
So, I'd like to get something different, something fun. I was thinking about Bellydance for Beginners and I haven't gotten much farther than that. I read a ton of reviews, but it's really hard for me to find videos that I LIKE!
I was going to try The Method-Dance to Fitness because I did ballet and jazz from the time I was 3 until 12 years old. I don't know if it's any good or not though.
Could you guys give me any suggestions?

I'm sorry, but I HATE The Method....I've watched a lot of their workouts (I have Mag Rack on my cable system that has free different workouts every month).

I like Cathe Friedriche she does a lot of interval workouts. Sometimes Shape or Self has video ratings....I've heard Crunch is supposed to be good (not annoying). I do miss their old series that was on a few years ago. Have you tried any FIRM workouts? maybe rent some first to see what appeals to you.

One of the Yoga Booty Ballet tapes is a jazz one - I can't remember which one so I'll have to look at the workouts - but you might like that. You might like the Slim Series which is cardio and resistance bands or I like Kathy Smith: Project You - I did get bored with it though and had to rotate some of her other workouts with it. These are from Beachbody - no, I don't represent them. In fact, I have to warn you that people have had a lot of problems with their customer service. So far I haven't, knock on wood.

I like Cathe but I workout with her solid for a long time and I think I was actually over-training. She is intense and you work your butt off.

I have an interval workout of Gin's that I really like. It's hard for me to do interval workouts but they say a person should do at least one if not two a week so it shocks your body.

If you want something totally different - I've heard great things about the striptease workouts (I'm serious).

I know I was were you were at too. I used to do Denise Austin's tv shows, moved to Taebo which I have done for 7 years, started doing more strength training with the Firm which I liked but then I needed more so I moved to Cathe. Had a hysterectomy and realized I was working out too hard and getting NO WHERE - I'm now doing Taebo Boot Camps, Kathy Smith, Denise Austin, Yoga Booty Ballet. I bought a lot of workouts on the swapmeet to see if I liked ones that people suggested and ended up not liking very many of them (Kari Anderson, Janis Saffell, and many more) - they just didn't click with me. It is so personal - what one person may love, the other may hate.

I would go to ebay or the swap, pick a couple of instructors that sound good to you and go from there. You can always swap or sell those workouts. Also, alot of people use Netflick (sp?) or Blockbuster to try new workouts - then if they like them, they purchase them. Another place to look is your libarary. Ours doesn't have a great selection but I hear that there are alot of others out there that do.

Best of luck to you. It's not easy finding something that clicks sometimes but when you do - you start having FUN exercising and that is what it is all about I think. I'm sure not losing weight doing it so I better be having fun !!!! LOL

I love ebay for workout tapes. I look for Denise Austin things, she has a variety of videos out. Belly dancing is great fun too. Perhaps try something you've never done before, a new kind of dancing, or maybe yoga?
