I would love to buy a cross trainer/elyptical machine to use at home. BUT, every one that I have seen under £1000 are ones that have a maximum weight load of 19 stone. I weigh 23 and a half stone, so they are no good for me. Has anybody found a reasonably priced cross trainer or any exercise equipment that can take my weight?
Thanks veggie, that looks like a good machine. I think I might have to wait til I get a bit further than my first 7 lbs lost to be able to afford one LOL, but Christmas is coming
The only at-home exercise stuff I own is 4 dumbbells (two were "rescued" from the rubbish) and a big old barbell, and numerous exercise videos / dvds, of which I use about 2!!
Well I have a load of step aerobic videos, and a couple of old Rosemary Conely videos, the first ones are too much for me, and the latter boring lol. I like the idea of a cross trainer because of the low impact on your legs etc. Time to start saving money!!
Well, i've got a full gym up here a treadmill..exercise bike and weight bench with lots of free weights and 20 assorted exercise vids and the only thing I use is my treadmill I should put my bike in front of my computer again like I used to I always have a good idea then don't put it into practice
Shame you didn't live in the same country as me lol, I could come use your gym, we could work out together If I get a cross trainer I will put it in view of the TV so that I don't get bored using it. ANd it's never too late to put your bike in front of the PC, do it NOW, lol
Hey..we've got a bossy one here just like me Ammi..my gym equipment is all pointing at the tv up here could'nt do it without one and I WILL put the bike in front of the computer..promise
LOL where would we be without our TVs to make exercise that bit more do-able LOL. Now I just need some exercise equipment so I can practise what I preach
