Default My goal for day one - did she do it???

Hello everyone
Thank-you for all your words of encouragement on my intro thread.
Well, day one is coming to a close and I think it's going to be ok!!!
I'm trying a south beach kind of diet, but modified because hey, i was never one for following rules.
It was a little weird today though. I have almost always been fairly active, even while gaining weight (i gain due to food, not inactivity), but today when i was doing my cardiovascular workout, i felt extremely nauseous afterwards. I thought i was going to throw-up, but then it went away. I just find it weird cause i work out fairly regularly, and i have been at higher intensities that i was today. anyways, i guess i'll keep an eye on that and mention it to the doc if it doesnt go away.
HEHEHE I'm very excited. I know it was only one day, but it gives me hope.

Glad to hear that your day went well. You might want to look at the Nutrition Fact on the products you've eaten. It may have somthing that has upset your tummy. I wish I could be so motivated to workout. I have PUSH my BUM to do it! I always feel good afterwards. Geez maybe someday it will click.

Good job! That is great that you met your goal. I too have done very well with eating and exercising since I joined yesterday.

I have had that happen as well, being nauseous after a high cardio workout. I find that the summer's heat tends to affect me sometimes and not controlling my heartrate (i.e. slowing down if it get too high).

Great first day

Now add another...and another..
Just keep at it and you'll be amazed!
I've been doing this one day at a time since April 19th...and am down 30 pounds...the time goes by quickly when you pile those days on top of eachother!
