This thread is for anyone that would like to participate in the 2x2 challenge. The 2x2 stands for 2 lbs in 2 weeks.
For those of us with a lot of weight to lose, motivation can come from breaking it up into much smaller short-term goals, and focussing on those manageable goals rather than the big picture. So lets move it and lose it - 2 lbs at a time!
How to participate:
If you would like to join in, highlight the list below, copy it, and then paste it into a reply and add your name at the bottom. The next person copies that list, and adds their name in a reply.
Next, write down your weight somewhere safe and then check in on the thread in 2 weeks time to report your loss - aiming at 2 lbs loss for the 2 weeks.
If we lose 2 lbs every 2 weeks, then we are 52 lbs lighter at the end of 1 year!

Well it's been a week since the beginning of this challenge!
Hopefully everyone is OP and heading for that 2 lbs loss in the 2 weeks.
Things that help:
* drink enough water - minimum 8 glasses a day
* exercise - try to include some extra movement in your day
* food - eat healthily and in moderation and don't be too hard on yourself. Crash diets don't work!
* journal - write down what you eat, and how you are feeling on a particular day.
And check back on 3FC regularly for support and company - We can do it!!

I'm sorry to report that I didn't - I only lost 1 lb over the two weeks - but its TTOM for me, so I believe it's probably fluid retention and I will lose it next week!
