Default I think I'll try this...

Hello everyone! I checked out and read The South Beach Diet book last night. I found it very interesting. I'm going to work this in with my Weight Watchers Pure Points Software. I did find I had limited amount of SB friendly items at home. I have lots of fruit, the wrong veggies and whole wheat items.... I had to run to the store and get a few things that would hold me till I could make a list and shop for the next two weeks of eating. I would like to know who out there is a 100 clue SB Chickie. I did go to the fat chicks on the beach thread and it is a world of help. I'm hoping that this new plan will help my metabolism. (Fingers Crossed)

Thumbs up

I've heard great things about SB and I'll bet it will work very well combined with WW. I'm looking forward to hearing how it works for you!

I'm actually very surprised how well WW and SBD go hand in hand. I'm not finding a problem going over points. I'm only on day 2 but I really think is working great! I feel better. My workouts are even more productive! The one thing I must stress is be prepared!! Get your food list and buy what you’re going to need. It's surprising how much stuff is low fat but high sugar! TOM is on its way but I have decided that I'm going to weight in Monday just to get an ideal I can gain 5lbs with so I'm ready for that.
I did have one big surprise with this. I thought I was doing good buying Jif LF peanut butter. Well I couldn't have it on SBD because it contains Sugar!! I didn't know that!!
I found Smuckers Natural - peanuts, salt! I LOOOOOOOOVE IT!!! I hope I'm up for many surprises when it comes to the food I eat. I thought I had read the labels but I guess I was more concerned with Sat Fat than sugar and some of the others things I look out for with SBD. I'm so excited I think this will help me.
