Default Calories in restaurant food?

I'm going out to eat tonight and was going to choose chicken quesadilla's - I usually eat just half of an order. I can't find the calories and info to put into Fitday. Fitday's quesadilla seems too low - 196. Does anyone know where I can find this info? Thanks!

Which restaurant is it? They probably all vary a lot. We have Baja Grill nutrition in our guide on the main site http://www.3fatchicks.com/fast-food-...-nutrition.php and their chicken quesadilla has 1350 calories

It was TGIF's - thanks for the link. It was half a serving then most so that was good - although I ate the whole thing and it wasn't very good - chicken was too burnt. Oh well. I'm sure it was more calories then what I wanted

Thanks again, Rachelle

It totally depends on what you order. Yes, you will gain weight if you eat at restaurants and order fried cheese sticks, desserts, regular sodas, and high calorie entrees.
Most restaurants have grilled chicken salads, and many restaurants have a la carte items as well. I find that I can eat out in almost any restaurant and still stay on plan if I want to. You can even eat at a fast food restaurant occasionally if you want to, if you are informed and know what to order.
