I have been eating a lot of Dannon Light n Fit vanilla yogurt so I wanted to make sure it was ok. There are some things that sound fishy to me but I thought I read somewhere they were just naturally occuring in yogurt??? Here are the stats:
total fat - 0 potassium - 270 mg 90 calories
sat fat - 0 total carbs - 16g
cholesterol - <5mg sugars - 12g
sodium - 95 mg protein - 6g
ingredients: nonfat yogurt(cultured grade a non fat milk, modified corn starch, kosher gelatin, vitamin a palmitate, vitamin d30, fructose syrup, contains less than 1% corn starch, natural vanilla flavor, aspartame, potassium sorbate, citric acid, annatto extract, caramel color
if this is not ok I need suggestions please! thanks!
I guess I'd worry about the modified starch in what you're eating especially if it's P1. I personally buy Continental plain lowfat and sweeten as desired - it's OK in P1 with the right ingredients. Continential has no modified starches, just all milk and cultures. I also have tried the Danon carb-control yogurt (p2 since they have fruit), and found them to be fine, although I'd limit 1 per day on P2 - nutritional info:

For Phase 1, you need PLAIN nonfat yogurt. Dannon makes a good plain nonfat.
For phase 2, you can have the vanilla and fruit flavored ones. I use the Blue Bunny Lite 85 ones or the Kroger Lite ones. Here is the info on the Apple Pie flavor:

The carb control one you listed, kpw, has cream and is not nonfat.
Lacey- I was told this wasnt allowed in phase #1 already into the week and didnt want to waste it so I went ahead and ate it and never had any problems. I had 1 cup a day (instead of the 2 cup limit) and still lost a lot my first week having it. I went my 2nd week and didnt have it at all and didnt lose as much (granted I ate some burgers) but for me I didnt give it up.
