Default Any ideas for a new challenge? aka 18th September YP's 10k day challenge!

Does anyone have anything exciting coming up soon (a birthday, anniversary, holiday or anything like that) in about 8 weeks or so, that we can use as the basis of our next challenge?

I like having these mini-challenge dates, but unfortunately I don't have anything to look forward to at the moment so I need to piggy-back on someone else's special date.

Hmm, I could be really self indulgent and set the date as 18 September (8 weeks today) as that's the date of my 10k.

Eek! Only 8 weeks, I'd better get running some more!

I'm using 21st of september as my next challenge. As its the beggining of autumn, a day where day and night is equal. But any other idea's would be great! I only chose that as I didnt have any other ideas....

Thinking caps on everyone!

MY BIRTHDAY IS 26TH SEPTEMBER SO MENTALLY I WAS USING THAT,but the 18th is good as that gives me a week of during birthday week
damn the caps button, too early for retyping
im going to aim for 7lbs in eight weeks, perfectly do-able if i pull my finger out, also it will get me into the 9stone something, which never seemed do-able for me when i started out

ha ha ha ha - I am a bit sombre at the mo arent I?

I love autumn actually though - I think its fantastic, im really photosensitive and blister in about 5 minutes if I dont slap on the ol' factor 50+ so most sunny days have me indoors or under many layers. So I long for the sun to be a bit less intense. But rest assure I have my happy hat on and am longing very much to stay in this mortal coil

Go on then, I've changed my challenge ticker for this one instead of 199 (and possibly made it rather too challenging, who knows).

Still, I'm looking at losing a stone in 8 weeks from last weekend (hence only 13 to go with this week's 1lb loss so far). If I'm running 10k I'd better get weight loss to match my pain!

GULP You'll have to be really really good Veggie because its SEVEN weeks on Sunday you can still lose a stone though once you get going theres no stopping you

I'm not committing to anything because when I do it well backfires on me i'm starting at 12st 4lbs/172lbs we'll see what I weigh in 7 weeks
