Default How was your holiday?

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July weekend. I also hope everyone did better on staying with the program than I did!

We went on vacation with friends...and while I really made an attempt to drink lots of water, eat fresh seafood and veggies most of the time. I did indulge in a few beers, a few mixed drinks... a few things here and there (low carb ice cream, and man, was it good!). But I know that those "fews" are going to cause a stall and I'm prepared for it. It's been my first slip on the program since I started (the end of May). I'm planning on kickstarting my system tomorrow with a week of P1 again....just to get all the bad out of my system and also increase my workouts to 6 days a week instead of the usual 4-5.

My weight watchers lady considers wine a "Fruit". I like that attitude. I need to start exercising so you are inspirational to me. I'm 136 and should be 120. Need to get my driver's license renewed in December and it still says "115"!! We women should all raise the driver's license weights which were all from 20 years ago, at least here in California where you don't have to renew for many years! Hope everyone had a happy July 4th.

My 4th was pretty uneventful, since I didn't get to celebrate it here in Portugal. I didn't see any thing about it on the news this year either. I'm trying to be really good these next few weeks, I have a wedding to attend at the end of the month, and I'd like to have lost a few more kilos.

I hope every one else had a good weekend.

Saturday and Sunday we had Open houses, and got an offer! Yesterday I took my kayak out on a lake (My most favoritest thing to do ) and thoroughly enjoyed me myself and I and Mother Natures glory!

I had a great day, and stayed OP all weekend, even with everyone else eating icecream and cake...and the biggest strawberries I have ever seen...(that makes Phase 1 hard!!)

I had a great 4th. Brian and I spent three hours working with the animals and then the whole family went over to our friends' house. I brought the Pulled Pork, SF WW hamburger buns, Overnight Slaw, 3 Bean Salad and Crustless Strawberry pie. That worked out really well for me. I did have a small piece of chocolate cake and two barbecue potato chips but otherwise stayed OP. Then we spent several hours at the pool so I did get some exercise too.

Now it's back to work. I just DOESN'T feel like a Tuesday!

We actually celebrated on the 3rd due to my DD have to spend the 4th with her dad. We swam for 3 hours, went to my sister's house for a BBQ and then spent 4 hours setting off the DD's fireworks (bought waaaaay too many this year).

So much fun and definately not OP.

I had a great 4th weekend. I went camping in a beautiful nature preserve in OH. We went on a four hour hike one day and a shorter on the day we had to leave. Up and down lots of hills! Talk about working the glutes ! I didn't stay on phase at all (beer, smores.....) but since I had lost a pound the day before I left I'm not going to weigh myself until Friday. Yesterday was a good OP day and today will be too. Good luck ladies! Have a great day!
