Default Wow, my IR med really makes a difference.

I've been on Avandia for a month now. I'd noticed that I don't get that shaky feeling when I go a few hours without eating anymore, and in general, I just feel better. (I also contribute some of that to starting regular exercise.) I didn't realize, however, just how much difference it makes.... until this morning. Last night I didn't take my pill before bed. I woke up this morning feeling rotten-- couldn't get awake, groggy, grumpy, and hungry. I haven't felt this way in weeks. Apparently that one tiny little pill makes more difference than I thought!

Hi all, please forgive my ignorance.... what is the difference betwen avandia and Met. ?

side note: I am trying to take the MET ... been months and can't seem to get up to the full daily dose. (500mg x3 daily.... breakfast 500, lunch 500, dinner 500) . I was so sick to my stomach the first 2 weeks I could not add the dinner pill. I finally added it and was sick to my stomach all morning then all evening. I tried to start the 3rd pill... the lunch one but was so sick to my stomach that I stopped. THen with illnesses and other issues, I am down to just 500 mg in the morning. I do notice a HUGE difference in the morning with energy/cravings... but the stomach issues are hard to get over.

any advice anyone? I would love input
