i weigh in tomorrow after 3 days of the xpress diet, I did cheat yesterday, I ate ice cream (I have my monthly friend) so it was almost a must! LOL. I am planning on keeping to the xpress diet until I lose a total of 6.5 pounds. Is that crazy? Then after that I plan to go on the gold plan, any suggestions? I am planning a trip to the Grand Canyon at the end of July and want to be looking fine for all of those strangers...and my friend who I have not seen in over a year, hopefully she will be impressed. Anyway, I am hoping that my period doesn't affect my weight too much. All I have been eating (besides the ice cream treat) is chicken, eggs, and romaine lettuce with lite ceasar dressing...and my apple juice with water, oh and some green tea.
Cablegirl I would not suggest going over the three days as the plan lays out. It is just to jumpstart your weight loss. Once you get into the regular program you will still see weight loss as long as you follow the program. We refer to "friend" or period as TOM here (time of month) and most of us see a gain during that time but its only water and you should lose most if not all of it when TOM is finished. It is nothing to worry about you just have to be able to keep your cravings under control. Hope this info helps ya out and good luck for your WI tomorrow.
