I joined Curves in January and have been enjoying it a lot. I've managed to go 2-3 times a week every week since I started. Recently, I started going for an hour instead of just 30 minutes. The major thing about Curves, for me, is that since I joined, I have went *off* all prescription pain meds and antidepressants .. I don't even take tylenol anymore, except maybe once in a while. My physical therapist is the person who recommended Curves to me. Its definitely a good place to get started.. and its easy and quick. Now that I have built up some strength (and I don't always HURT anymore) I do other workouts during the week in addition to going to Curves - swimming, treadmill, free weights, aerobics, and walking the dog (when its not so hot out).
[Edit]
PS. When I first started going there, I started losing weight, but then in February I had to be put on 300mg of seroquel b/c I had a bad reaction to this other medicine (Adderall) that I had been taking. The seroquel has made me gain a lot of weight

... However, I recently had it tapered down to just 75mg and I actually have lost 10 lbs finally.. this week I am getting another taper, so I hope to continue and see more weight loss/control over eating urges.
I really think that I would look much, much worse right now if it weren't for consistantly working out at Curves. And I know that working out is good for me, too.. so it makes me feel good to go there on a regular basis.
