Thumbs up I'm new

I'm Laura and I am new here. I finally decided to get some support instead of sitting on my own doing nothing. I worked so hard 3 years ago to lose 70 pounds and I was real happy with how I looked on my wedding day. Now 2 1/2 years and 1 little girl later I have gone from 215 pounds to 309. I just want to talk to you other ladies that are feeling what I'm feeling. Be blessed!

Hey Laura!
Welcome. I'm pretty new myself. I sure understand what you mean about getting some support - It's making a huge difference to me to hear other peoples successes and know there are others who are heavy like me, but who are taking on the challange.

It's awesome that you lost the weight once - you KNOW you CAN do it again! I wish I could tell you it'll be easier this time... but they might have to can me for fibbing But it IS doable! and I hope the support of the group helps keep you on track and motivated the way it has for me.

I'm older - 45 - and don't have a baby to motivate me, but I'm about 308 and want to get down to a comfortable weight to ride my horses again, not to mention the health benefits.

Again, welcome! Hope to hear from you again soon.

Default Welcome!

I really think you will get alot of support from everyone. This particular support forum is my obsolute favorite. When I had my son 2 years ago I weighted 308lbs. I was happy and excited but, my body was in deep trouble. My son has really motivated me to get healthy. I want to have another child but, I don't want the weekly doctor visits while pregnant and I don't want to be hospitalized for 2-weeks after having my child. Good luck and if you need to chat please message me.
