Hello Mary,
Welcome to the board! I'm new myself but wanted to say what an amazing job you have done. How long has it taken you so far to drop 90 lbs? *wooohooo* Hope to hear from you. Take care.

Hi Mary, welcome aboard. The Cambridge diet hey? I remember my Mum doing that years back, horrible shakes that were lumpy and thin runny soups.. please tell me it's changed

Well done on your loss, fantastic work. pop in often

OHHH don't mind me asking how you did it. When I read cambridge diet counsellor I was thinking you were a diet counsellor - IN - Cambridge - *INSERT MY DOH! here* - Not a UK native so wasn't familiar with that diet :sheepish:

Hello Mary
well done on the weight loss. Is it one of those drinks and bars diets? I have heard of it but a long time ago.

Hi everyone

Thanks for your kind welcomes

My weight loss started March 2004 when i joined slimming world and lost around 2 stone 7lbs in a year. I had christmas and then decided to do Cambridge diet and so far since March 2005 I have lost 4 stone 1lb.

For everyone thats doesnt know or wanted to know about it. Cambridge diet is a total meal replacement diet, which consists of shakes, soups and bars. They taste lovely mmmmmmmmm my favorite flavour being chocolate mint. The weight loss so far for me has been 1 stone a month, some people loose more.

If you wanted more information have a look at www.cambridge-health-plan.co.uk

For me i have to say that its amazing and the best diet in the world.

Mary

Glad to hear it's working for you Mary, it is the same one that my Mum did years back, things weren't sos tasty back then though.
Question: Do you not miss proper food though if everything you eat is a replacement?

Hi

No i dont miss food at all, the soups and shakes and bars are lovely.

Every 5th week is add a meal week

Where you have your normal food packs and you have a specific meal

like poultry, fish, cottage cheese, with veg or salad.

I have tried all slimming world and rosemary conley but found the weight loss too slow.
