Default Oh so new...

I am minutes old here. I'm not sure where I should be so I'm starting here. I need to lose weight...around 40-50 lbs. I cannot get myself to spend anymore money doing it, done WW 3x. Went to LA Weightloss, and after they told me it would cost around $750 I got mad at myself and said...NO, I'm not spending more money...I CAN do this. I guess I'm looking for support, advice, a buddy. Someone help steer me in a direction please.
Thanks, look so forward to your responses. Please be patient with me because I'm very new to forums/chats, etc.

Cool Newbie Too

Hello to you. I too have tried it all (sometimes more than once). I'm working on WW Point system now, just started on monday. (had all the stuff from when I went before) It's easy, no "can't" have foods. Just figure them in. I have decided it's crazy to say "No More This" and "No More That" It just makes "IT" call you LOUDER. So if you need an ice cream fix you can have it without feeling you have just ditched another diet. I got ice cream bars 2 points each. And have had just one after dinner these past 4 nites. So you see anything is possible. It's SO possible for us to stay on track and drop some of this weight we so desperately want to loose. I have been looking at the Point Companion Book trying to figure out good choices. I am lucky, I like all that vegi's and fruit. So with your help we can't fail...I'll be more than happy to help you too. I was trying to find a basic weekly menu, I know I got one at a meeting once Let me know how you are doing ok

Default Hi there

Hey, welcome.
I have been tripping around this site myself for a little while now. You won't have any problem finding someone with a similiar situation to your own. There are people here from all over, of all ages and sizes. It's a great place to find support and encouragement, regardless what you are doing to try to lose weight. You didn't say how old you were but, myself I am 42, which in itself creates a whole new set of problems when trying to diet. I have been "somersizing" for about 6 weeks now and I am really enjoying it. I love hunting for new recipes and trying new dishes. I have already lost 15 of the 60 lbs I am aiming to lose. Yippee!!
Good luck to you, feel free to contact me if you like.

K
