newbie - - need some accountabilty/buddies!

  • hi all! have been on this site several times, and just didn't register. seems like a great place to be for support and encouragement! I am 39, a stay at home mom w/2 boys (11 & 3 1/2). My husband is a youth pastor. Lost 15 pounds last year w/WW but have gained some back and feeling discouraged. Had a friend to do it w/me last time and it helped so much! Don't really need to lose a lot, but need to stay focused on what I'm eating and how much. And lose what I've gained back - felt really good when I lost it! My hubby has just recently lost 25 pounds... Anyway, if anyone is interested in helping me out - and I can help you out too - let me know. Looking forward to some new friends. (not necessarily WW plan people - we can all encourage each other!)

Look forward to some new friends!!
  • Hi neighbor,
I'm in Virginia too, I have a little more then a few pounds to loose but I'd be willing to support you on your journey as well. I am a social worker and a mother of 2, an 8yo boy and 7 yo girl. I did well on ww last year and slowly gained it back with a few more then I started, now I joined ww online again and am working out several times a week at the YMCA, I'm starting to see progress and feeling great again, I'm in a wedding in Disney World in Nov and would love to look awesome for the wedding.
  • Hi there, welcome
Hi, I am fairly new around here myself, still trying to find my way around.
I would love to find someone to share with and encourage.
I am 42 years old. A mother of 3 teenage girls.
Within the last year or two, I have put on 40 lbs, and I am not happy with myself at all. Really trying to lose it again. Sometimes it's so hard.
I read a book my sister lent me and have been "somersizing" for the last month or so.
Ever heard of it? It can be very tricky and confusing at first, but it seems to be working. I walk 5 miles a day for exercise. I need the stress release.
Drop me a line if you would like.
    K
