Default Question for anyone who works for WW

I'm close to goal and I was thinking about working for WW when I'm lifetime. Can anyone tell me about how many hours they work and what the pay is? I'm sure it depends on your area, I live in the Portland area. I'm just really curious to know what kind of money I might possibly make.
Thanks for answering!

I am not sure of the exact amount but the ladies in my area say they don't make that much..usually pennies per person who attends the meeting for the receptionists/weighers. This might give you an idea.

I think it may vary by what region you live in. But if you are planning on working for WW to make a lot of money...find something else

The pay is based on the number of people who attend the meetings and a percentage of WW products that are sold. There is a minimum "base" pay that you get, if there is say a snow storm or something and very few show up at a meeting.

You pretty much tell them how much you want to work, whether you're available mornings or evenings or weekends, how far you're willing to travel to meetings, etc. The more you make yourself available, the more hours you will get. It also depends on how many other WW staffers are in the area and whether there is a need for more.

Most start out as a "sub" and work their way into regular meetings.

It's good because it keeps you in the loop and going to meetings, where as many lifetimers stop doing that and re gain...you also get a good discount on WW meeting products. But it isnt' something you will make a ton of money doing.

Thanks for your responses!
No, I wasn't looking to get rich. I do need a flexible part-time job now that my kids are all in school, and working for WW seems ideal because it could help keep me on program. Eventually I will be getting a "real" job because I'd like to keep sending my kids to the private(expensive!) school they're in and I need to use my computer science degree before I forget everything I've learned

Also, don't know whether it was just our franchise, but you don't get paid for the weeks you train...

I heard if you work for WW, you have weigh-in every week! That would keep me OP. Everyone else is correct, you don't make much money.

I wanted to work for WW too when I reached lifetime, but the district manager was unwilling to provide training at night or on weekends. It was all very discouraging.

Employees weigh in once a month, just like other lifetime members.

Ooooh, me to! I've had exactly the same thought. If I can keep going on program and get to goal, I want to be able to share whatever I learn, and stay in the loop. But I don't understand how WW can have employees and not pay them minimum wage. It would end up be pocket change for a few hours a week, but I think I'd like to do it.

How much "training" is involved? How does one move from receptionist to leader?
