Default Favorite kickboxing video/DVD?

I'm looking for something that is for beginner or intermediate exercisers, preferable 45 minutes or less. I have two kids so I have little time for myself. I'm sure many of you can relate. I have some problems with my knees so I can't do any jumping but kicking doesn't aggravate my knees at all. Any recs? Thanks!

I like the kickboxing tapes of Cathe Friedrich...I think her website it Cathe.com...that's the only place you can buy them. I can't do them all the way through, but I get a great workout just with the 20 or 30 minutes I do...and someday...maybe I'll get all the way through. She makes suggestions for low impact, and her instructions and form are impeccable.

All of her tapes, in fact, are excellent. You can even view short snippits of them on line to get an idea of what's on them.

Default Thanks!

Thanks so much! I'll check out her website. Have you tried Kathy Smiths kickboxing workout? How does that compare?

Thanks again.

Default Kickboxing

I like Kathy Smith's Kickboxing cds over Cathe Friedrich. She has two and they are both with boxers. I take a kickboxing class with an ex boxer and it is great. Good luck. It is a good workout.

I would suggest the Tae Bo 2004 series or the Tae Bo Cardio/Flex. These videos are not as difficult or uptempo as his other videos, but they still provide a goo dfundamental work out to get you started.
