Talking Stuck..totally stuck

Hi,

I am new to the board as well.

I have been loosing weight for about a year.. since I moved to Vail, CO. I moved from SD, very unhealthy place, to CO, one of the healthiest states in the country.

I tried for many years to elimate the excess weight. But to no avail. I just continued to "grow" in many places. Until I hit my high of 251 pounds.

Its funny how fat one can get before we even realize it isnt it?

So, I moved to this wonderful place, looked around, and notices I was the only fat girl for miles. (Not literally, but damn close)

So, I decided to get on it.

This girl who had never excersised on purpose in her life started working out at least 5 days a week. Eating according to WW (mostly) and boom.. the weight started flying off.

Now, Im getting really close you know.. and nothing.

Im doing the same stuff. .and I know Im building my muscles, and I know it will be harder..

But my problem is .. when I dont see success for a while.
I get frustrated..
and you know what frustrated means..
a pint of Ben and Jerry's (smile)

Any advice on how to keep my chin up while my fat is still sagging?

This is one of my biggest fears and where I think I'll get frustrated too. Hitting a plateau.
It's hard for me to give advice but I'd say hang in there and remember how great you look!

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.

I can TOTALLY relate. I moved to Denver about 3 years ago from Portland, OR. People here are definitely way thinner then back home. That's what gave me the motivation to start losing weight.
Have you tried varying your diet and excercise? Change things up, trick your body. I've seen it work for many people.

Keep up the hard work.
