Default Stephanie Plum fans?

Has anyone here been reading those Janet Evanovich books about Stephanie Plum? I am completely addicted to these books. Just wondering if someone else reads these. If so let me know what you like about it. According to Janet Evanovichs website, you can buy tshirts now showing whether you consider yourself to be a "Ranger Babe" or a "Morelli cupcake." Which would you choose? I am without a doubt a Ranger Babe. I love his character. For all of you who have not read them, if you dont mind very strong language, they are a very entertaining read!

Thumbs up

See I'm on the other side I just love Morelli.. But without her meetings with Ranger the books just wouldn't be a fun. where she thought up her chaacter from I don't know but Lola an grandma Muzur are fabulous. I lent book 1 to my 14 yr old niece when she was staying as she was a little bored. I know it was a bit old for her. But her absolutely loved it.

Go Steph

I see the Janets love advertisered here, but when I've tried to go to it the link is no longer there. Do you know whats its for

Ranger all the way!!!!!

I love those books, too! I like to listen to the edited cd's while I'm driving. There's one particular narrator that I think does a fabulous job, tho I can't remember her name right now.

I got my mom hooked, too!

Default Oh I love these books

Boy I tell you. That's a tough call.

I'd have to go with Morelli though. Just a tad more stable than Ranger.

As an aside, if these books were ever made into a movie, who should play Ranger and who should play Morelli?

My mind reels....

Morelli, she at least has a chance at a future with him. There is no future with Ranger but boy he sure could make the present very worthwhile.

I too like the audio books, I listen back and forth to work and catch myself laughing right out loud some times. They are great fun to listen to.

I have only read two of the books and absolutely love them! Have to say Morelli though. Ranger sounds hot...but just not so sure. Also, love Lola and grandma too! Too funny! Had a couple of ladies talking about them and got me wanting to read one and now I am hooked!

Well when I first read the name Ranger I thought "ranger from the north" so Viggo Mortenson is my Ranger figure. On Janets site there is a discussion on who you think the characters should be. I think Sandra Bullock is the top choice to play Stephanie. Book 11 is due out in June. I cant wait!

And Happy, Vin Deisel is a good choice. I didnt think of him. My favorite characters are probably Kloughn and Lula.

Love these books and really loved the books on tape. I listened to them while doing my daily walk - and walked even father than I had planned just so I could keep listening. I'll go with Morelli - Ranger is too much of an unknown to be stable for long.

To play Morelli--

Either John Stamos or Dylan McDermott

I don't know if anyone's interested, but I went in Waldenbooks this week-end and they had the hardcover copy of Seven Up for 3.99 and the hardcover copy of To the Nines for 5.99.

I just read some of these posts to my sister (also online here) and asked who she'd choose, Ranger or Morelli. She said she had to think about it and asked who I would choose. I laughed, because the truth is I MARRIED Ranger, or his clone anyway. My sister snorted and said, "you're right, and in that case I'd take Morelli". And I thought she liked my DH! LOL

Who would you choose to play Stephanie Plum? DH says Marissa Tomei, but I think the actress who plays the mom on Still Standing would do a good job.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! So glad to hear another is due out in June. One of my coworkers also reads them and we have convinced quite a few in our office to read them. We haven't discussed who to play the other roles but definitely we all agree that Sophia from Golden Girls would be excellent as Grandma.

hmmm, Ranger or Morelli? Hard choice, can't I have both like Stephanie does? I married a Morelli 22 years ago, stable as a rock but sure dated a lot of Rangers before that.
