I almost missed you here.
I think about WLS daily. In fact sometimes hourly. But I know several people who had TERRIBLE experience with it. One woman was only 32 years old. She never made it back home. She did not die immediately. She [b]suffered in hospitals and nursing homes for almost 2 years before she died. Her kids never got their mom back.

I know there are millions of successful surgeries too. Most of the successful cases I know had serious complications. Almost every single one had complications after 3 months. So when you combine those with the fact that I am a MAJOR coward I keep postponing making any decision. LOL

We do have a successful WLS poster in our thread... and there is an entire group on the main forum. You could get more first hand info from them. But ....

WE have a daily thread that I want to invite you to come join in.
