Hey, Spill. Congrats on the loss!

Nothing too exciting happened this weekend -- just softball. I play on a co-ed league from church, and we played two games on Friday and then had a two-hour practice on Sunday. We're really bad -- we need the practice! It seems like all my weekends consist of is softball. Oh, well. It's fun, and it's exercise.

My weight has been holding steady, so I'm hoping for a big loss sometime soon.

Hope you all have a great week!

Take care,
Jina

man it was sooooo hot here in the weekend. I spent all saturday inside avoiding the sun, then went to a bbq.. sunday we went looking for surf/watching surf dvds. It was just too hot to function, and there were heaps of tourists at the beach so didn't feel like going swimming...Yesterday I went for a swim at lunch tho! he he.. had to get changed in bf's car on the way down.. got some weird looks, but thankfully I am a fully qualified defensive dresser (i used to have 4 jobs all with different uniforms at once, and always had 3 to go to each day! driving and changing is my forte!). The water was really nice, although I can't get used to the shallow beaches on this side of the country..

well hope everyone is having a good week

Wish I had a beach nearby...NBK, I wish I could visit where you live...I have been amazed by some of the views that I have seen of New Zealand...mostly from watching Lord of the Rings though...were you able to visit that area when they were taping that back a few years ago? You know orlando bloom is single now? although I'm more of a brad pitt kind of girl.

In Texas they are calling for snow today..this is TX weather for you...last week I was wearing sandals..today it's a turtleneck...no sense in putting up my summer or winter clothes, must be able to swtich back and forth...you know what I mean TX girls!

He he lord of the rings.. that movie has been brilliant for NZ tourism.. but the last couple of times I was overseas if 1 more person asked me if I had ever seen a hobbit, I would have screamed! he he.. OF COURSE I KNOW LORD OF THE RINGS WAS FILMED HERE!!! We only have 4 million people in NZ.. so one way or another you are going to hear about these huge things.. he he.. I had a few friends of friends that were either riders or extras in the movie... the weird thing watching it is that they have combined a lot of scenery into one area, so there will be plains from the north island, with forest/scrub from north canterbury and then the southern alps, all running into each other... but it is pretty accurate in other bits. We do have amazing scenery here, something I feel really lucky about. I know last time I flew back from europe I cried when I saw the southern alps... they were so beautiful with snow on them that had started to melt... awww...

Megan - why would you making out with Elijah make him gay? I mean I know i have had an ex bf of seven years go to the other side.. .but I promise, I never met him while he was here!! he he

it is SO HOT in my office right now. and my fingers have swelled up a bit as a result. i am ridiculous, it takes nothing for me to retain water. thats why i drink a ton of it.

light posting over here this week... grrr. hey, i forgot to tell you guys that i had my body fat tested again and it got a bit lower - it's 24% now. Still not great, but my goal is 21-22% so I'm not that far away. I started at 29% about 14 weeks ago. I dont know if that is good progress in that amount of time but I am very happy because I'm not really losing much weight.

anyone doing anything fun for the superbowl? i guess i am supposed to want the patriots to win but i like routing for the underdog, in this case, the eagles... bf is going nuts with the superbowl party food - pepperoni bread, scallops wrapped in bacon, shrimp cocktail, wings, cookies... its going to be a tough one!!!

MEGAN: CONGRATULATONS!!!!!! I totally forgot to ask you how that went, sorry. I'm happy for you, I think your body is adjusting and your body fat reading is showing what you may not be able to see. That's great...I'm so proud of you!

It's been a crazy week, and haven't felt much like writing on here...but am trudging along, work, school, sleep, work, school, eat....you get the picture!

Have a great weekend girls!

Hello girlies!

MY INTERNET IS BACK!!!!!

Can't believe this stupid internet provider...3 weeks without internet and that is supposed to be ok??? NO!!! My hubby was so mad at them that we got 6 months free! Gotta love that hubby!

My gosh, I had to catch up on a lot of threads...That took me a while...Glad to see that evberybody is doing fine.

What's new with me..?

I'm moving in my new house on Feb 21st and I can't wait! We are now living in a bachelor appartement because the closing date for the byers of our old house was not the same as the new house. So we had to live somewhere!! The bachelor appartement is hard for 2 people...It's a good thing we are both still alive!! Hehe..

I just finished my last session with a personal trainer. I only took 3 sessions because it was expensive. I've learned a lot of new things. I have a weight training program now and I plan on sticking with it for at least 6 weeks. Then, he said that we can switch it up a bit. I've learned how to use all the machines and to push all the big guys away..Hehe...I'm mean man!!!

I also met my goal weight for the V-day challenge so I'm quite happy. For the next month, I am trying something different:

I am keeping my 1500 cal a day but increasing the amount of veggies I eat.

At the gym, I will do30 min of weight training and crunches first(personal trainer advise me to do that first cuz you burn more fat after)

Then do a high impact cardio session for 30 minutes.

I'll keep you posted on the results!

Sorry if it was long but I had so much to say!!

Have a great evening ladies and keep losing!

Sacha

Hi everyone!

I havent posted for a couple of weeks - I had out of town guests for a week, and then promptly got sick right after they left. So my weight has been all over the place - it went up when my friends were here (something about the pizza in detroit being really bad, so they had to get their fill in chicago!) but way down when I was sick. And working out? Fuhgetaboudit. Tomorrow, I will be back on the wagon - working out, diet, the works. Until then, I will try to catch up with what y'all have been posting while I've been gone
