[Boots2005]

Hi,

I have come from another board, where I sucessfully lost over 50lbs, and then gained it again So I decided to make a fresh new start here on 3FC. I lost all motivation the last time, and I don't plan to make the same mistake. I made the choice last year to lose weight for the summer, and I did great losing 50lbs, but then once the summer ended I kind of gave up on myself, because I felt 'whats the point'.

Well I have had enough of being FAT, and I want to get up off my fat one and do something about it.

I am unsure of my exact weight, as I haven't got weighed since I regained the weight, so in actual fact I don't know how much of the 50lbs I have put back on, but with a guess I am saying ALL.

So here it goes, 2005 will be my year. The year I get to feel healthy and slim again, and wear beautiful fitted clothes, and feel great about myself.

I am looking forward to getting to know you all, and I do plan to be around for quite a while!

So now I am going to get familiar with the board.

PS: I started my motivation tonight by renting out 'Super Size me" and it certainly did the trick

Welcome Boots!!

You've found a great site to join for support and encouragement! And after reading all these success stories it's also very motivational!!

I have vowed that this is the year for me to get to goal or at least 10lbs from goal. Something inside just kind of snapped and I'm ready to make the commitment to get off the fat.

I hope you enjoy this place as much as I have. I have met some really wonderful people here who have become more than friends....they're like family. And I hope you get to experience the same.

Find a support person or group of people.
Set small atainable goals.
Don't give up on yourself.

It takes so little to upset the apple cart....but, you are in the frame of mind to do this and to keep it up.

Throw out the word "diet" and replace it with health.
