Default free class online: A New Way to Cook

The Barnes and Noble website offers classes on a variety of topics, and are often led by the authors of the books they are trying to promote with the class. They are usually very good, I've taken several! The classes change from time to time and are not always available. The classes are free, and you don't have to own the book to take them, though it usually helps

A class is starting today, January 10, for the book "A New Way to Cook" by Sally Schneider. I own this book and love it! I took the class a few months ago, and it was really very helpful. You'll learn all about using flavor instead of fat, focusing on fresh foods, and even learn new cooking techniques. I highly recommend this free course. If you are interested in the book, it would be a good addition to your collection. It's very thick, loaded with wonderful recipes and information, and is one of my favorite healthy cookbooks.

They are also offering a weight loss course "Diet Simple" by Katherine Tallmadge. I've heard of the book, but have not read it yet. I've signed up for the course

Bubblysweet, they offer the class frequently, so maybe you can get in on the next one

That is very good to know! I checked it out now and didn't see anything much in the next set of offerings but I will keep looking. Great idea
