Ok, so I want to start exercising the RIGHT way. Problem is, I don't even know how or where to start!
I will have access to a fitness center in my new apt complex which has about everything, but not until March 1st. I don't want to wait until then! I know I can start walking ( I am severly out of shape, no jogging allowed

) but how do I know when I am doing it productivly.
Is there a way to figure out your target heart rate? How do you know when you are in it? How do you know when you are in the best fat burning range without a monitor? I don't have the money to go buy one, even a cheap one right now. I am sure there is a way to do it without a machine.
I have the serious urge to get moving, but I want to make sure I'm doing it right so I don't get depressed and burned out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA!
