Nothing happening around here, getting ready to go to water aerobics, then work. I "forgot" WI this morning, I think I'll wait until Monday and start the new challeng off right. Oh by the way 2cute, I'll try to count up my Naughtys & Nices tonight and give you a report tomorrow.

Terr-
My great uncle lives in Montgomery City! My grandma and her family grew up in Bellflower (not far from Mont City) and they still have a farm there. My uncle decided to move to the "city" though. LOL

What are the 3x2, 2x2 or whatever challenges?

Hey Chickees!
I hope everyone one is well these last couple days of the year! I am so ready to put 2004 behind me and start a new year! Thank you for all your love, support and encouragment this year. It's been a tough one for Jeff and me, but we will pull through on top!

Not much to report here. Yesterday I was packed and ready for the gym, but then a girlfriend talked me into leaving work early to go visit her new dog and I spent a couple hours there. Then I decided to go to Target on the way home to buy baby gifts for a friend (my favorite thing to do these days! Yes, sarcasm). The story was still crazy busy and Christmas is over, the teenager with an attitude didn't take the gifts off my friends registry. It was just an annoying trip! Oh well!

Then DH and I spent a little time together. He is feeling a little better, but still not great so I am continue to wait on him hand and foot.

I am going to work today and stay at home the next two days. I'll check with work if they need me, but it's been quiet around here. I'll start taking down some decorations and cleaning up the house. Not to mention figuring out what to do with some of the odd gifts we received.

Susie - I am so sorry about your initial news. I am going to send you an e-mail instead of talking about it all here. Big Hugs!

I'll check back in later.

Terri-
I dont know the name...but my uncles family name is Bland. His name is Doc Bland and his brother, who has passed away was Halleck.

I was just talking to my mom and she said when she was a kid she picked blackberries at the Hesterburg place. They lived by my Uncle Halleck.

Thumbs up

Good morning friends. Sorry I have been MIA lately.
I am just overwhelmed right now. Overwhelmed at home and here.
I owe sooo many replies and soooo many thank yous for Christmas cards and photos.
Here is one BIG THANK YOU to everyone who mailed me one.
The photos were awesome and I will thank you individually in the near future.

TODAY is the day I announce the winner of our CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE so please post TODAY if you have more than 62 points. I think Leanne does but it is listed in the Christmas Challenge thread. I need to know ASAP !!! Today is the LAST DAY to claim your fame.

I am running WAY BEHIND on the January Challenge. I apologize for that.
I am very embarrassed to confess I have not done it yet. I know what my plans are... but just can't find the time to get it done. Christmas certainly has taken ALL of my time. Well.. that and my daughter coming home.

Oh by the way... she got her luggage in time to fly it back home again. LOL
At least she got it ... and for that we are VERY grateful !!!
And when she got her luggage... I got my Xmas gifts.

I will try to get my act together by Jan 1st and get the new Jan challenge started. I am sure some of you are tired of it by now and that is fine. I just know that I NEED IT so I will do it ... but it may start a week late.
I also know that Terri has the new contract going and our regular 2x2 challenge going too ... so I won't worry about anyone depending on mine. LOL
We are certainly not challenge poor. Like I said .. I am doing mine to help me as much as anyone else. LOL

Default A New Day!

Good afternoon Chickies...

Today is a new day and yes I am proud to say that I am still OP! Day 3. Yesterday my friend and I walked an hour at the strip mall and boy were my legs mush afterwards.

Today is going well and DH and I are going to do weights at Bally's after work.

Thank you to Andria, BarbPA and all for your support with regards to our infertility. I had a very nice telephone conversation with Thin yesterday and she convinced me to postpone making infertility doctor appointments until after DH, DS and I come back from Florida. That way, we could just relax and enjoy our vacation. I agree that is a great idea and my husband agreed too. DH and I have a lot of talking to do prior to seeing any doctors.

2Cute: Glad that your daughter got her luggage back.

Well, lunch is ending and I still have some web surfing to do.

Toodles,

Susie

Back from another mini-vacation, and this time, I brought a virus from Houston back as a present! I was sooooo laid up for the last two days; I'm feeling more human and less like cold sludge today.

Kat: No, I don't think they teach us that in med school. I think it's one of those elite skills learned through years of practice

Jana.... WELCOME !!!! We would love for you join in all of our challenges.
OneTallMama... does that mean standing PROUD or just standing tall.? lol
Congratulations on your 19 lbs you have already lost.
The challenge I will be starting will pretty much be like the ones I have already done for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can read those threads and get the general idea I am trying to achieve. Basicly... establishing new habits. Taking ACTION.
Again.... WELCOME !!!
