Default You may not know this...

...but I consider this website and all of you, my buddy!

I have been lurking around for quite some time and have finally decided to achieve my goal weight.. By logging on and reading your posts, I find it pretty motivational. I have also learned that I am not alone in this battle!

I am 30, a mother of 4 and work full time... By the time I get off work, I'm exhausted! My husband has been very supportive about my decision to actually become healthy. He's the cook of our family, and has been cooking healthy meals.. I currently weigh 230 since Christmas eve and have been actively playing volleyball for a few hours 2 times a week.. I have a treadmill that I'll actually be putting to use after I take the towels off of it..

All in all, I just wanted to say hello and give out a special "thank you" for being such great people!

Oh btw, my name is Shalynn - nnylahS

Hi Shalynn,

I am a mother of 2 and work full time. Now that my second baby is 6 months old and i was weighed at the Dr.'s office and humilitated i too have decided to hop on the treadmill and get to losing the weight. My husband is also the cook of the family, but he is also the snack buyer. I am also exhausted when i get off work, between the 8 hour day the 2 hour trip home, with a stop at the babysitters, and then starting my day all over again with dinner, bath and bed for the babies, and dinner and potty time for the dogs when i finally do get that 1 hour of free time i just want to sit! I hope i can stick with it and i wish you luck as well!

Hello Alicia!

I can totally relate on feeling exhausted! Just as of yesterday I've been getting up 45 min before getting ready for work and jumping on to my treadmill. What's your method of weightloss/exercise? I've been somewhat tracking calories and for now walking on the TM and am actively playing volleyball at the local community center.. It's a slow start for now, but it's a start.
