I cannot believe it's November already. I joined 3FC's last November - a year here already? Amazing.

Time does fly!

Did everyone have a good Halloween? Do anything special? I went to a Halloween party on Saturday -- it was a lot of fun. I was a pirate. I have some pictures -- I might have to post one.

On Sunday, a group of friends played beach volleyball. We had so much fun and got in lots of exercise. We're going to try and start doing that regularly. We're also getting together a softball team, so that will be some more exercise. Believe me, I need all I can get!

This week is a busy work week, so hopefully I can squeeze in some exercise and eat right.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Take care,
Jina

hey everyone,

halloween was uneventful over here.

wow jenicra - it is your year anniversary! that is amazing! you have come so far. on that note, why was my ticker taken away and yours wasn't. 3FC HATES ME. haha.

i dont think we should talk about politics on here but i just hope everyone is voting today!

24 days left until gobble gobble??? nooooo. haha. i dont even know if i made it to my halloween goal because i havent weighed myself (TOM, i dont weigh myself at this time, EVER, lol). I need to get my exercise going... i am going to call a few gyms today and just check how much they are. how much do you guys pay for your gyms, those that do go? i belonged to ballys for 6 years and i only paid about 120 per year, but now i dont live near a ballys so i can't go there.

no, didn't really do much of anything for Halloween. I think I'm getting to be a bit boring. just hung out around the apt.

I did toss the football with some guy friends...well, I attempted to throw..Wow, that is really hard to throw a football. I did catch it a few times, and once got bonked on the head!! too funny.

My arms were sore on Monday, so I think it was a good workout for my flabby arms.

IT's raining here, and I just don't have the motivation to get much work or studying done....bleh.

Have a great one girls.

Tanny, If i had some extra money, I would love to join a gym. I don't know how much it costs, but not in my budget I'm sure. Good luck on your search

Jenrica-You have made it so far in a year. Very encouraging to the rest of us. congrats on all your hard work.

Tanny-I hear you on TOM weigh in's. Of course the week after is always nice because, you drop several pounds off (even if its only back to normal). LOL!

Spill-Great job. Isn't it nice when you find out you got a nice workout in and didn't even know it at the time because you were having fun. If only they could all be like that, maybe I wouldn't be where I'm at now.

I have a ton of energy right now and am having trouble trying to work. Hopefully this holds over until this afternoon for my workout! Feeling great, hope you all are too!

hey guys... i already posted in gobble gobble that i am going to check out a gym today. hopefully they won't charge a ton bc it is right by my house and would be very convenient.

I noticed that we don't have a progress pics thread (at least, i dont think we do...), and i know that there are folks on here that have lost a significant amount of weight, so maybe we should start one. like spill, jdogg (jina), jenicra - you guys are an inspiration to us, and have come very far. I also think we are breeding supermodels over here considering you three are so tall. "congratulations, you guys are one step closer to becoming america's next top model" haha!

You're too cute Megan - i know we've got an old one, I'll try to find it and bump it up.

My house had a Halloween party on Saturday - it went awesomely.

And hey, I managed not to land in a pile of sweets after a stressful election night... and morning... and next couple of days...

TannyiMC: ahhhh, you made me blush, thank you for the compliment! I could find some pics and post them, but I may be in therapy after I do that. It is really hard to look at pictures where I was overweight. Painful & I would be very embarrassed. I guess on the bright side I don't look like that anymore, but it's sad, thinking of all that time that I was unhappy with my body. anyways, you crack me up Tanny w/ the ANTM reference.

Jenicra: good job on your landing.

Skinnyjeans: why so upbeat? do tell.

Girls we are half way throught the week, let's end it strong!

i joined the gym! i am going to go after work today. i am going to go 3-4 times a week for about an hour.

spill - i know what you mean about looking at the pictures. i don't have it in my signature or anything, but my highest weight is around 200 pounds (possibly more?)and then was in high school. i lost weight in high school and college. i dont really look at pictures from that period much. i think i feel stupid when i look at them because, at the time, i didn't even think i was fat. but i was.

anyway, just so you all know alittle more about me, 150 lbs is the weight that i've maintained at for about four years, until over the past year when i gained the weight up to 167 (or more). so now i am back at that weight, and i feel proud that i didnt let myself slip tooo much. and i can't let myself slip again, so i won't! this new gym membership will help me a ton.

thanks jenicra!

guys, i worked out yesterday! wow, can you believe it? i'm so thrilled with myself. lol. i also really like being in the gym atmosphere, it's nice. i am going to meet up with a PT on sunday just for my introduction to the gym kind of thing. i'm not really into strength training, but i know i need to do it, so i am hoping he can give me a program to follow that i can do only once or twice a week. i have read a lot that strength training once a week still makes a big difference. i really would like to get my legs in shape - they are icky.

Wow Megan, how exciting! I'm glad you found a gym and that you are really liking it. You go girl!

Well, Happy Friday girls. Let's try and get in some excercise this weekend. I'm mostly saying that to myself, I haven't done one thing all week. I haven't gained, I think I have this whole maintain thing down, concerning food. I just need to get in some excercise for my health, and plus the benefits of having a toner body. More looky loos from the boys
