How's it going? There's a tv campaign in the uk called fat nation, it's designed to make all the couch potatoes get of their arses and do some exercise! Check out the UK chicks thread!
I'm stuck at 175! Humph! I've been kickboxing and cycling this week, and I'm going kickboxing again tonight!
Hi beans & everyone else! I have been so swamped lately. Not much time for exercise. This past weekend we took care of my neice, which was okay. Definitely helped us realize we're not ready for kids yet! She doesn't cry, she just screams. Only 8 mos and already has an attitude. Watch out! Well, I better get back to work. :P I hope you all are hanging in there!!!
Hi everyone - I am new to this website and this looks like a fun place to be and share different things with everyone. I am a new member to Weight Watchers as well, I have been on LA Weight Loss for over 1 year and lost a total of 65+ lbs, but the refrigerator and the cabinets started calling my name, and I gained back 24 lbs. I am looking for a way to stay focused and be accountable to myself to lose these stinking 24 lbs that I put back on. After surgery back in April that is when everything went downhill for me, I was at goal and I totally destroyed what I worked so hard to get off of my body, so now that I am so uncomfortable with myself, I need to get back down to goal.
I have also looked into getting a personal trainer at the gym that I go to, I spoke with her last night and she is going to call me today, to set something up, I know that she will help me to get myself back on track.
So that is a little bit about me. Looking forward to talking and meeting all of you wonderful people.
I'm new to this forum as well. I'm 21, not really overweight persay, though once upon a time I was very athletic and could pretty much eat whatever the heck I wanted (I played rep. hockey and softball for ten years before I began university). Now... well, that doesn't work so much anymore. I had a pretty serious concussion a few years ago, and was unable to play contact sports for a long time. As you may have guessed, I gained some weight during that time off. It also didn't help that all I ate was university food -I can't cook to save my life, what else could I do?- and I love to go out and party/drink (and who doesn't? haha).
Nowadays I go to the gym about 3xs a week, and I'm thinking of starting WW to help me get back into a healthy way of eating and back in shape. At any rate, I'm hoping to get a lot out of this forum, I've already lurked around here before, and seen how supportive everyone is of the other members. Looking forward to posting, and best of luck to everyone else!
Welcome Carlita and Lisa!
This is a really great forum to be a part of...we do try to support each other as best we can! Carlita, I can TOTALLY understand the college food and alcohol...I have been successful loosing weight at school only because i excercise my *** off! When I'm on campus, I am totally off plan and eat whatever is available. I am trying to change that this year..maintaining my excercising while changing my food intake (even if its only slightly!) Happy Friday to everyone!
Hi everyone - hoping that everyone is having the best day that they possibly can today. It is so beautiful here today, the weather is so nice, I want to be outside and not stuck inside of my office, but I do have the windows open for the fresh air to come inside.
I did it last night, I am so excited, I got a Personal Trainer, we are going to start on Monday and I will be going 3x per week - Monday, Thursday and Friday, on the other days I will do my normal routine. I cannot wait to meet with her on Monday so I can get this stinking weight off of my body. I have another 24 lbs to go, so hopefully this will give me the push that I need to succeed.
Well everyone I will talk to you all later, I am alone at work today, the other woman is out for the weekend, so I have alot of work to do. Have a great day.
Just checking in to see if you are all well and alive! I know I am. Back on Phase 1 to undo all that I did do and well, I think I've gone down a few. Tomorrow's weigh in day so we'll see.
Thinking of changing weigh in day to reflect my new workout schedule (4 days at the gym, 3 off -- weighing in on that last 3rd Day off!).
But that's all in my corner of the world...sad ain't it? Once I get pictures from Puerto Rico, I will post one!
