I have said about my current WLS surgeon just went out the door. He was supposed to call me today with the test results from yesterday along with a treatment plan. Since he was leaving this afternoon for a week made it somewhat important. Well... He didn't call and now his office is closed and he is gone. I even called to remind him at 10:00 am as per his request .


Now I'm pissed. No test results, no remedy for my nausea and no treatment plan for the next week.


This guy has been so incredible as far as being concerned, bedside manner and pushing to find the cause before he left and then he blows it. Oh well, I guess I wanted to lay around without much eating and no activity for the next 9 days anyway. Can't even stay un and about long enough to get through an interview so there goes job hunting for another week.

oh geezzz... but P - doesn't he have anyone covering for him??? i'd like to think so... maybe you could call on monday?>??> i'm so sorry to hear this..

Yes he does. Ironically the person who covers him is the same doc who assisted in my bypass and also who admitted me for the closed up pipe a few weeks ago. Monday I plan to call the office again and want a copy of the test results and if the nurse won't/can't give it to me then either my doc can call or the on call doc can deal with it. Either way I'm not waiting 9 days just to find out what is going on. Its just frustrating to be so nauseated all weekend not knowing what is going on.
