My favorite sub at Subway is the 6" Club. But I have noticed that every restaurant and/or sandwich artist (as they are called) makes it differently. It has roast beef, turkey and ham - and I have gotten anywhere from 3 slices of each meat (way too much) to 1 slice of each meat. Obviously this would change the point value.
I finally emailed Subway and their reply was that the 6" Subway Club contains 1 slice of roast beef, 1 slice of ham and 2 slices of turkey. This is what their nutritional information is based on. I will now start watching even more closely and make sure that's all I get. People do look at you funny when you ask them to actually remove some of the meat!!
I don't know if this is a problem with other subs.
Never had that happen. My Subway puts together all the meats on wax paper so they are all the same. I never eat the subs I always get a wrap. I'll keep my eye peeled now though.
That is interesting, never have even noticed. I do know that each set of meat is in its own paper wrapper so I just assumed they came that way!! Thanks for the head up. I will definitely look more closely.
As to the funny looks when you ask them to remove stuff, I made them remake a whole sandwich once. She said mayo and I said no, and then she put it on anyway. I asked her to please remake the sandwich. She did, although I wouldn't say she was thrilled. May have been a long day.
Have you tried the veggie delight? I get it without the cheese. It has all the vegetables and is really quite filling. Yummy, I think I'll make one for lunch!

I always have the vegie, too. I have it w/out the cheese and mayo - just spicy mustard & tons of 0 point vegies. Very good!! Don't forget the pickle lol
According to the web site it's 3 points for the veggie delight. I think that is without the cheese, the board however says it includes the cheese, but that doesn't sound right. The web site is www.subway.com It also gives the other sandwiches calories, fat and fiber.
This is the sandwich I get from Subway. At www.subway.com the nutrtional info is: 200 cal, 2.3 g fat, 3 g fiber. That comes out to 4 points Perhaps you picked up the wrong number for the calories? The first column is the serving size in grams (163 g). I have a feeling that is how you arrived at 3 points. These are great for only 4 points!
The cheese is only 41 cals and 3.5 gr fat for 2 triangles. So it could be right that it is included.Having worked at subway at one point I know that people always ommitted the cheese thinking it was A LOT higher in calories and fat than it really is(heard them talking). They were always surprised how few calories it is.I guess they compare it to cheddar you buy in the grocery store?Which is much much higher.
