Question choc-oholic!!

Ive been on the SBD for about 3 months now and have lost 25 lbs!!! Ive been doing great but I am starting to crave chocolate again(ALOT), does anyone know of any good/allowable sugar free chocolate out there? or have any good recipes? I mostly crave after lunch! The sugar free jello just isnt cutting it any more! Does anyone know why I might be craving again? I havent had cravings since the beginning of phase I, should I start phase I again since I have cheated alittle here and there? Thanks for your help!

How about some no-sugar-added fudgesicles (have you tried the peanut butter cup recipe on here?). Or since you're on P2, how about some strawberries dipped in dark chocolate? I haven't been on SB long enough to get cravings back although I've been cheating almost every weekend (because I am a wedding planner and have had a wedding every weekend lately). You've done a great job with your weight loss so maybe you should have that one little bit of real chocolate as a reward (am I being a bad influence?). If I am, go with the fudsicles or strawberries and save that chocolate bar for motivation to get to your goal.

Yup, try the chocolate on strawberries. You can use either dark (bittersweet) or semi-sweet chocolate, 1 oz. You should not have that more than once a week. There is a recipe in the SBD book, but personally I prefer just the chocolate...I put it in the micro in a custard cup and cook on high for 30 secs, stir, another 30, stir, etc. until it is melted. I then dip strawberries that are washed and dried in the chocolate and use a spoon to get it all over. I lay them on a wax paper-covered dish and put in the fridge for a bit. They are delish! You can also eat the chocolate plain, but I would follow that with some kind of protein to counteract the blood sugar surge.

The No Sugar Added Fudgesicles are awesome and a great way to resolve the choc. urges. What about making some kind of desert with a nut or wheat germ or flaxseed (or combo) crust, some peanut butter, Cool Whip Free and SF pudding? Bet that would be really tasty!

BTW, I started having cravings too, and I've been on SBD for about two months. Not sure why...I did just add an extra starch to slow down my weightloss and thought that was the culprit, but... Are you craving due to emotional things?

The peanut-butter cup recipe is REALLY good ! Sugar-free puddings are allowed on Phase II also ! Try the chocolate ! Also there is a recipe in desserts that sounds good. It is strawberries and dip. The dip is sf/ff white chocolate pudding and chocolate drizzle on top. Sounds good to me !!

Thanks for all your tips...Im going to try them all!

Does anyone know if we are allowed to have the new Bryers Carb ice cream? I tried that last night and it was really good so Im sure I probably wasn't supposed to eat it! I put a spoon full of crushed walnuts on top, yum...
And I also bought the chocolate for the strawberries so Ill try that too, but why can we only have it once a week? I need chocolate daily!!

Hopefully I can get by without cheating, because Ive noticed my weight loss has stopped (I actually put on a lb.) and I'm sure its because Ive been falling off the wagon here and there....

I dont think Im craving for emotional reasons, I think its more because I did cheat so now my cravings are coming back?!?! Does that sound right?
Thx-
~Kris~
