Question Onions

Finally got the 2 books, SBD and Good Fats and Good Carbs, and I can't find anything about onions, except green onions, so are the legal in phase 1?
that is regular onions. Just finished day 6 and it is going good, will have weigh in wed morning, but feel better. except need more fiber. Also there are different kinds of butterbeans, what kind are they talking about? we have fordhooks, green butterbeans, speckled butterbeans, and the dry butterbeans. sure wouldn't want to get started on the wrong one.

Thanks for your help

On page 122, onions are listed as "good" so use them. A half cup is a serving.

Regarding beans: yellow and green beans, the ones fresh from the garden, are fine to eat raw or cooked. Dried beans such as limas, lentils, kidney, black, chick peas, etc. are all good too and will give you lots of fiber. A half cup is a serving.

I'm in an entirely different garden zone from you (USDA4) so don't recognize some of the other beans you mention.

thanks for your help, I didn't know about some of the beans until I moved South, although I don't eat a lot of them, but hubby does. Just ending my 8th day today, going good so far, haven't weighed yet, will wait till the 14 days are up.

thanks again
