So how are we all doing? What is everyone up to this week? Anyone have anything exciting planned???
I plan on going out of town on Friday, looking forward to a little vacation, just a weekend getaway to go visit an old friend. Should be a good time.
My goals for this week, is to keep bringing my lunch to work, drink lots of water, and no eating after 7pm. Working out every night this week, twice at the gym, and the rest of the days running at the track!
Let's have a lot of losers this week!!!!! Good Luck everyone!!!
My plans for this week including packing, packing, packing! I'm moving in 2 weeks and its time for me to get my butt in gear. I hate packing. Ugh. I'm supposed to be meeting a friend of mine this afternoon which should be fun. Except he mentioned wanting to go out for ice cream I will try to be good!
My goals for this week are to keep drinking lots of water, work out at least 4 times and be consistent with my calorie counts!
My goal this week is to hit the gym at least 4x this week, stay OP with WW and no eating after 8pm. The no eating after 8 pm is so tough for me, I usually don't go to bed until midnight so there's so much time for me to snack.
Hopefully this will help me get into the 150s this week and say adios to the 160s.
I've decided to renew my gym membership. I'm on call 2 or 3 days a week so on the days that I'm not on call and don't have any afternoon appointments, I'll head out at 4 and work out for an hour. It has been close to 100 degrees for the past 2 weeks now and I'm not an early riser so the only way I will get any exercise in is if I go to an air conditioned gym or swimming in the river.
I think this inspiration for me to get my butt in gear again is from watching the Tour de France every day over my lunch hour. Watching those guys in peak physical condition compete for hours a day for 3 weeks and knowing how much they work in the off season really makes me aware of how little I do and how much room for improvement there is. And I also like to drool over Lance Armstrong.
The weekend was mixed, but I think I'm ok. I weigh in tomorrow, so we'll see.
Goals for the week:
no junk food in the evening.
exercise every day for the rest of the week (5x total).
get bench and hand weights for home gym
watch portion sizes!
Today I have been fighting my brain over the desire for fries! I brought a can of soup today for lunch, but have been dying for some french fries from Wendy's down the street. I have been drinking water and forcing myself to just get over it already. I swear every day it's something new, and something I have to conquer..today it was the will to not jump in my car and get those fries...it's 1:34pm so far and I'm winning!
Hey, it's the small things that matter sometimes....
Am I losing it, or does anyone feel my pain on this???
I feel your pain; I too, have insane cravings for complete junk food. I never found a way to make them disappear. However, I have noticed that they do fade, with time. I haven't had more than a bite of chocolate in weeks, and I don't really miss it. At the same time, when I eat fast food (mmm, McD fries....), I want it all of the time.
I'm sending you positive, will-power boosting thoughts!
It's been a while since I have checked in, I know. My computer is dead at home and work has been sooooo very busy with all this anti-gay stuff going around in Congress. Anyway, I should be back full time next week.
I can't believe its halfway through the week already! I've been doing great with eating this week and I'm so proud of myself. I started using FitDay and it really helps me to realize how many calories I was eating. Its almost a game now to see what I can eat so that I don't go over my recommended daily amount.
Jennifer: Thank you, Thank you, your very sweet! Well, I did make it through the day w/ out giving in, and forced myself to hit the gym, even though I was considering just going home and relaxing. I don't know what my deal was...I was just having a really off day all around. I'm much better today!
Jenne: Glad to see you stopped by, take care, we'll see you soon!
Aimes523: I am so glad I ran across Fitday...what an awesome site. I love the graphs, and the food section really does keep you in check.
